LONDON—Hotwire has been appointed by Hitachi Data Systems, a leading provider of information technologies, services and solutions, following a competitive pitch process. Hotwire will represent HDS in the UK, as well as coordinating a wider EMEA network of 13 agencies.

The campaign will be structured into two parts, with an initial UK-specific focus on increasing the amount of issues-based coverage HDS receives in the business, trade and vertical media, building on HDS' thought leadership position in the IT industry through on and offline campaigns.

The second part of the brief is to build an efficient and effective coordination model across HDS' EMEA network of 13 agencies.
