PARIS—MSLGroup has been awarded a €2.3 million, 15-month contract from Invest in France to promote international investment in France.

The pitch was led by Publicis Consultants in France, which has pitched unsuccessfully for the prestigious account in the past. MSLGroup regional president Farbries Fries attributes the firm’s success this time around to increased collaboration across a network that includes the former Publicis, MSL and JKL brands, as well as specialist firms such as Kekst and Company in New York.

MSLGroup’s recent acquisitions may also have played a role: the account is particularly focused on developing markets such as Brazil, China, and India—where the group has acquired Andreoli, Hanmer and 20:20, and Eastwei and Genedigi respectively—and to a lesser extent in the US.

Ogilvy Public Relations was the incumbent agency.
