LONDON--Unilever has shifted UK PR duties for Flora pro.Activ to GolinHarris from Lexis PR.

It is understood that the FMCG giant made the decision following a review involving the two firms, both of which sit on its PR agency roster.

The Flora pro.activ range includes numerous spreads and drinks that the company claims reduce cholesterol by using plant sterols. The six-figure brief encompasses healthcare and consumer, with the overall aim of building awareness of Flora pro.activ’s heart and health benefits.

Lexis will continue to work on the remainder of Flora’s UK PR business, including its main margarine brand and Flora Cuisine programmes.

GolinHarris has grown its global Unilever business considerably in recent years, and now handles such brands as Magnum, Slim Fast and Lux in various markets.

Representatives from both firms declined to comment, while Unilever did not respond to request for comment.
