SINGAPORE—Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has appointed corporate communications veteran Brian West to the newly created role of managing director and partner, reputation management, Asia Pacific.
Based in Singapore, West will also co-lead the global crisis communications practice and response team for Fleishman-Hillard.
Most recently West ran Burson-Marsteller Australia for more than four years. He resigned from that position in November.
Previously, West ran Hill & Knowlton’s Asia Pacific business from 1991 to 2005 and sat on the agency’s global board. Returning to Australia for family reasons, he consulted with a number of large financial institutions and then joined Australian Rugby Union as general manager, government and media.
