Holmes Report 06 Feb 2012

NEW YORK—Cohn & Wolfe has appointed Anna Cahill Leonard as global technology practice leader and president of its San Francisco office. Leonard will replace Annie Longsworth, who left Cohn & Wolfe last month to become CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi S, North America, a sustainability and corporate responsibility unit of the UK advertising group.

Leonard will lead the strategic development of the agency’s global technology practice and manage operations, client relations and employee development in San Francisco. She will report to Donna Imperato, chief executive officer.

Leonard most recently was president of Cohn & Wolfe technology subsidiary AxiCom US, where she oversaw operations and provided senior client counsel. Before that, she was chief operating officer and executive vice president at Blanc & Otus, directing San Francisco Bay Area operations and working with clients such as Cisco, Facebook, Oracle, Tendril and Saba Software.

Prior to joining Blanc & Otus, Leonard was managing director and executive vice president of Porter Novelli.
