NEW YORK—Middleton & Gendron Brand Communications, a lifestyle public relations firm best known for its work in the travel and tourism category, has completed a restructuring, including the formation of six distinct business practices and promotions for several longtime senior executives.

Executive vice president Burns Patterson, an eight-year agency veteran, has been named chief operating officer and two vice presidents, Patricia Nugent and Jay Austin, have been promoted to senior vice president positions. Yvonne Middleton continues as chairman and Mary Gendron serves as president.

The six business areas include M&G PR, M&G Social, M&G Productions, M&G Crisis Communications, M&G Community and M&G Consulting.

According to Gendron, “Our distinct practice areas can stand alone or be employed in any combination based on a client’s business goals. We can now more succinctly articulate the agency’s services and accommodate short-term project clients as well as our ongoing programs.”
