MOSCOW—Kseniya Trifonova has been appointed director, business development, at Mikhailov & Partners. Trifonova has worked in the company since 2011 and until recently was deputy director, new business. In her new role she will be responsible for developing promising areas of business and services, working with new clients, and positioning and promoting the company. In addition, Olga Rendino has been appointed director of the company’s office in St.Petersburg. She previously worked as adviser and press secretary to the vice governor of St. Petersburg. Alexander Karmaev, who previously headed the St. Petersburg office, will become director, regional development, where he will be responsible for supporting the firm’s regional interests.
LONDON—The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, which represents research-based biopharmaceutical company, has hired Luther Pendragon to provide public affairs advice to its senior team. The firm will provide strategic advice on the group’s relationships with politics, the NHS and patient organizations and will work with the in-house team, led by director of corporate affairs Amanda Callaghan.

LONDON—Pavan Dhaliwal has been named head of public affairs at the British Humanist Association, succeeding Naomi Phillips, who is leaving to manage external relations for the General Pharmaceutical Council. Dhaliwal has held policy and public affairs roles for the Government of Bermuda, and with race equality organizations the 1990 Trust and Race on the Agenda.

The firm will build loyalty levels, generate revenue through recommendation and also co-create content.
