EMEA

Holmes Report 17 Feb 2012

LONDON--Weber Shandwick has named Mark Pinsent as head of content and consumer social media in EMEA.

Pinsent will report to EMEA CEO Colin Byrne and James Warren, chief creative officer, digital. He arrives at Weber Shandwick after departing UK consumer firm Shine, where he was director and head of social media. Prior to that Pinsent worked at Edelman and Text 100.

At Weber Shandwick, Pinsent will be responsible for building out the firm's content proposition, and leading digital and social communications for its European consumer businesses.

“I’m delighted Mark is joining Weber Shandwick," said Warren. "I've known Mark for many years and can safely say that his digital communications experience, allied with his insatiable appetite for innovative social solutions, mean he's the perfect fit for our growing senior digital team."
