NEW YORK—Marina Maher Communications has added Jane Brody Koenke in a newly-created role as chief creative and inspiration officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in communications for global brands such as Apple, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Duracell, Swiffer, and Sony.

In addition, Alyssa Garnick joins MMC’s consumer practice as managing director and Julian Fleming joins the health and well-being practice as managing director.

Brody Koenke joins MMC’s creative catalyst group from Momentum Worldwide, where she helped establish the agency’s North American shopper marketing discipline, and before that in a similar position at The Integer Group. She has worked in creative roles at major advertising agencies including BBDO and McCann Erickson.

At MMC, she will work with client teams across the agency to inspire innovations in brand storytelling and branded content across social media, advertising and shopper marketing.

Garnick has held senior roles in consumer marketing at Ogilvy PR, where she was executive VP and head of the New York consumer marketing practice, and at Ketchum, Burson-Marsteller and Edelman.

Fleming joins MMC from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, where he led the marketing teams for the US HIV and HCV franchises including the recent successful launch of Viramune XR.
