LONDON--Geoffrey Pelham-Lane, president of FTI Consulting's global strategic communications practice, is departing the firm.

Pelham-Lane joined Financial Dynamics in 2000, before it was sold to management consulting business FTI Consulting in 2006. From 2007 to 2010 Pelham-Lane was CEO of the practice’s UK business, one of the largest in the group.

At the start of 2011, he was named to his current global role as part of FD's rebranding, working alongside global US-based CEO Ed Reilly.

"I would like to thank Geoffrey for his contribution to the firm and the growth of the strategic communications practice, in particular," said FTI Consulting president and CEO Jack Dunn. "I wish him well for the future.”

Prio to joining FD,  Pelham-Lane was director of investor relations for NatWest Group. Before that he held a number of senior banking roles at NatWest as well as working for five years in fund management with Leopold Joseph.
