MILAN—Burson-Marsteller has named Fabio Caporizzi as the new CEO of its Italian operation, which has offices in Rome and Milan. Caporizzi previously headed Burson-Marsteller's Milan office and succeeds Eric Gerritsen who is joining Sky Italia as executive vice president of communications and institutional affairs. Caporizzi rejoined Burson-Marsteller in 2009 having previously worked for the company from 1996 to 2002. He specialises in crisis management, media relations and corporate communications.

LONDON—Waggener Edstrom has named Anna Gray to lead the agency’s UK healthcare practice.  Joining as vice president, Gray brings experience from roles as director at Burson-Marsteller and at boutique healthcare agency Galliard, working on its lead client, Roche.  Most recently she led the global cardiovascular business for Novartis and oncology teams for Bayer at Cohn & Wolfe’s London office.

LONDON—The British arm of distribution company EB Brands has appointed Talk PR to handle the UK launch and press office for Candy Store, a fashion and beauty accessories brand. The account will be handled across the agency’s fashion, lifestyle, beauty and play divisions. According to Natalie Ellis, business development director at EB Brands, “A targeted PR campaign in the UK is going to be vital for us to grow the Candy Store brand and catch the attention of potential buyers.”

LONDON—10gen, the company behind MongoDB, has appointed Lewis PR as its retained agency for EMEA with a focus on UK and Germany. Lewis has been appointed to spearhead awareness of the company’s momentum across the EMEA region. The campaign will focus on content generation and placement to highlight 10gen’s leadership in the marketplace.

LONDON—Brown-Forman UK has appointed Cirkle to handle consumer PR for this summer’s launch of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, the first new expression of Jack Daniel’s in more than a decade. The account will be run by Cirkle deputy managing director Nick Woods.

LONDON—Beattie Communications has launched a specialist luxury goods marketing team under its Only Marketing label. The luxury team will be led by senior retail specialist Amanda Fry operate out of Only Marketing's London office although digital marketing support will come from Only Marketing's internet marketing team based in Scotland.

LONDON—Good Relations Life, the lifestyle division of Good Relations, has been appointed to handle the PR and social media for Clothes Show Live, run by Haymarket Exhibitions.
