CHICAGO—Ogilvy Public Relations has added Susan Peters to its consumer marketing practice as executive vice president. She will join the firm’s Chicago office and report to EVP and consumer group director Liz Van Lenten. Prior to joining Ogilvy, Peters was executive vice president and group head in Edelman’s consumer practice for many years. Before joining Edelman, Peters ran her own consulting firm focused on events, public relations and sponsorship sales.

NEW YORK—Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has appointed Robert Shapiro senior vice president, partner and group leader of the business-to-business marketing practice in New York. Shapiro joins the agency from Greentarget, where he was general manager of the New York office. Prior to Greentarget, he held senior positions at a variety of agencies, including Weber Shandwick and Burson-Marsteller. He will report to Robert Dowling, Fleishman-Hillard president of the US East region.

NEW YORK—Social@Ogilvy, Ogilvy & Mather cross-disciplinary social media practice, has added Tom Boland as senior vice president. Prior to joining Ogilvy, Boland served as senior director of partnership marketing at World Wrestling Entertainment, designing and implementing social media and digital marketing campaigns for multiple blue-chip clients including 7-Eleven, Ford, Mattel, Kmart, Slim Jim and THQ. In addition, Boland spent seven years at Digitas, where he managed the Saab Cars USA, Monster, Subway, Sirius, and Sears accounts.

NEW YORK—MWW has added Emily Graham as vice president, corporate communications.  Graham comes to MWW from Burson-Marsteller where, as manager of its public affairs and corporate communications division, she served as a senior communications counselor leading strategic communications campaigns. Her expertise spans banking and finance, professional services, economic development and aviation. Previously, Graham worked for Southwest Airlines’ corporate communications division.

Patterson brings more than 15 years of experience in consumer product PR, including expertise in issues management, food & nutrition communications and working with national trade associations. Prior to joining PAN Communications, she worked for seven years at Mullen, most recently as vice president and account director overseeing the agency’s food and nutrition business.
