SLOUGH, UK--CA Technologies is on the hunt for a new UK PR firm, after incumbent Nelson Bostock declined to repitch the business.

The software giant is understood to have briefed a number of tech firms regarding its UK PR account, which focuses primarily on B2B communications, to pan-European, national and trade audiences.

Nelson Bostock won the business almost two years ago, but an agency representative confirmed that it had declined to take part in the review.

Last week, the Holmes Report revealed that Nelson Bostock had won Salesforce's UK PR account.

CA is best-known for its IT infrastructure and management products, which are widely used in the corporate world. In the UK, the company hit the headlines earlier this year when the FT reported that RBS is considering legal action against the company, because of a software glitch that left millions of customers unable to access their bank accounts.

The $4.4bn company employs 14,000 people worldwide, and regularly ranks among the top vendors in the multi-billion dollar worldwide cloud and network management software market.

A CA Technologies spokesperson declined to comment on the review.

Earlier this year, the company shifted its Asia-Pacific PR business to boutique firm In.Fom, after working with Hill + Knowlton Strategies for several years.
