NEW YORK--Omnicom Group, which owns PR firms Fleishman-Hillard, Ketchum and Porter-Novelli, today reported a decline in its third quarter PR revenue.

PR revenues for the period totalled $313.8m, down 0.3 percent on a like-for-like basis.

For the year-to-date, PR revenues are up 1.6 percent to $942.9m.

Overall worldwide revenue increased 0.8 percent to $3.4bn. Domestic revenue was up 3.2 percent but international income dropped 1.7 percent.

Omnicom's PR growth in the first half of this year was sluggish, at 2.6 percent, compared to an industry average of around 3.2 percent, as calculated by the Holmes Report across holding groups.
