NEW BRIGHTON, MN—Risdall Marketing Group has added nearly a dozen new accounts in the third quarter. Among the new clients are Eemax, a leading manufacturer and distributor of electric tankless water heaters; Conservation Beyond Borders, a nonprofit organization dedicated to biodiversity and landscape conservation; and Venture Academy, Minnesota’s first digital blended learning school for grades 6-12. Other PR clients include Codex Corporation and PRA Location Services.

NEW YORK—Wise Public Relations has added several new clients, including Control Group, a New York-based innovation strategy firm; Spruce Media, a leading provider of enterprise-class marketing solutions for Facebook ads; Yieldex, a leading provider of inventory and revenue management solutions for digital publishers; Dynamix, a provider of dynamic creative engagement, optimization and personalization technology; and Spindle Labs, a Boston-based developer of new search technology to help people discover social content they couldn’t otherwise discover via their Spindle app. The agency will manage digital and traditional media, social media, thought leadership and event marketing.

CHICAGO—Zapwater Communications has been retained by Gilt and its subsidiary Gilt City to oversee both brands’ public relations efforts in Chicago. Gilt, an online shopping destination. retained the agency to oversee regional media relations for its women’s division.  Zapwater will also lead publicity efforts for Gilt City Chicago, the luxury experience site. Zapwater will also assist with social media, event management, influencer relations and partnership development for both entities. 

ANNAPOLIS, MD—Saint Agnes Hospital, one of the Baltimore region’s leading healthcare providers, has selected Crosby Marketing Communications (as its agency of record. Crosby will provide strategic planning and creative services to build Saint Agnes’ overall brand awareness and six clinical Institutes.

ATLANTA—Arketi Group, a high-tech business-to-business public relations and digital marketing firm, has been selected by PMG, a business process automation software company, as its agency of record. Arketi will develop and execute an integrated PR and digital marketing plan for the remainder of 2012 and 2013 for the software company.

CAMBRIDGE, MA—LaVoie Strategic Communications Group, has been selected following a competitive pitch as the PR agency for i3 Analytics, a Maryland company providing deep insight into unstructured data and pharmaceutical industry trends.
