SEATTLE—Cell Therapeutics, a company focused on translating science into novel cancer therapies, has appointed Monique Greer as senior vice president, corporate communications and investor relations, responsible for leading CTI's external and internal communications strategies and reporting directly to James Bianco, president and chief executive officer. Most recently, Greer was vice president of corporate communications and investor relations for Allos Therapeutics, and earlier worked for healthcare PR firm WCG.

WATERTOWN, MA—The Tufts Health Plan Foundation has hired Stacey Mann (pictured), previously executive vice president at Boston-based Greenough Communications, as its communications officer. Mann will spearhead all of the foundation’s communications efforts to sustain and build healthy aging programs; educate policy-makers, practitioners and the public at large about healthy aging issues; and promote collaborative activities for a healthy aging movement across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She previously spent more than 10 years at Greenough, most recently running the account services division for the agency.

SEATTLE—Biotechnology company Dendreon Corporation has appointed Lindsay Rocco as executive vice president, corporate communications, and member of the executive committee, responsible for all communications functions and reporting to John Johnson, chairman, president and chief executive officer. Most recently, she was senior vice president and a member of the leadership team at Rx Mosaic Health, a specialty healthcare public relations agency within the Omnicom Group.
