BAHRAIN--Mark Jackson is departing UK firm Lucre to head technology at Memac Ogilvy.

Jackson, currently group head of corporate at Lucre, will leave the firm at the end of January, relocating to Memac Ogilvy's offices in Bahrain.

At Memac Ogilvy, Jackson will lead a tech practice that counts IBM, Philips and LG as clients. The marketing services group, part of the Ogilvy global network, has numerous offices across the Middle East and North Africa.

Jackson will report to both Memac Ogilvy PR head Saada Hammad and the firm's Bahrain GM. "My role will be to add some senior expertise as well as help build the practice across the region," he said.
