COPENHAGEN—Burson-Marsteller has appointed Maria Sennels as CEO of its Danish operations. Sennels rejoins Burson-Marsteller, where she was previously CEO and leader of the change and organisational performance practice in Europe, Middle East & Africa. She takes over from Kim Larsen who has led Burson-Marsteller in Denmark since 2011. 

Sennels has been an adviser to major companies and organizations for the past 14 years, first as vice president of Advice A/S and then as CEO of Burson-Marsteller Denmark from 2005 to 2011, with a focus on helping companies deal with the communications challenges associated with internal and external change.

She left Burson-Marsteller in 2011 to set up her own successful change communications business. She will continue to work with her current clients at Burson-Marsteller.
