NEW YORK—Ogilvy Public Relations has added two clients to its New York roster: Altec Lansing, audio electronics manufacturer and Bitdefender, security and anti-virus software creator.

Ogilvy's brand marketing practice will provide strategic planning, content development, media relations and social media support for Altec Lansing, a leading speaker manufacturing company for the past 75 years.

"Ogilvy PR's understanding of what it takes to showcase the classic heritage of the Altec brand in a rejuvenated way is a critical step as we introduce new products," says Ike Franco, chairman of Altec Lansing. "Ogilvy PR is a vital partner in truly amplifying the volume around Altec's products in an extremely competitive category."

Bitdefender, creator of global security and anti-virus software, has hired Ogilvy PR's technology practice as US agency of record to manage media relations among technology, security and mobility trade audiences.
