Hoffman Hires Weber's Natalie Lowe To Lead Asia

Asia Pacific

SHANGHAI—The Hoffman Agency has hired Natalie Lowe as its new Asia-Pacific MD amid encouraging growth from its operations in the region.

Lowe joins from Weber Shandwick, where she spent the past two years as a VP in Shanghai. In Hoffman, she joins a firm that has grown beyond $6m in Asia-Pacific revenues, after a turnaround that began in 2010.

Hoffman's Asia-Pacific presence was previously led by Chris Tang, who departed the agency earlier this year after choosing to relocate to Australia. In the interim, the agency was led by Japan head Shingo Nomura and global VP of operations Lydia Lau.

“Given the crush of change in the communications industry, the status quo doesn’t cut it,” said Hoffman Agency founder Lou Hoffman. “That’s why we hired Natalie. We needed someone with the smarts and guts to build upon our APAC foundation, retooling the operation with the needs of tomorrow’s clients in mind.”

At Weber Shandwick, Lowe played a key role in the formation of the agency's 'Emergent China' practice, while also working across the clean tech and corporate practices. She previously spend eight years at United Technologies Corporation.

Hoffman launched its Asia-Pacific presence in 2003 and now has offices in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Singapore.
