NEW YORK—Edelman has added Tyler Gray as editorial director in the firm’s New York office. Gray, who comes to Edelman after five years as editorial director for Fast Company, will lead Edelman’s creative newsroom in New York, reporting to Russell Dubner, president of Edelman New York. Prior to Dast Company, Gray served as an editor, writer and consultant for multiple print and online media, from Blender, Maxim, Us Weekly, and Radar magazines to The New York Post and The New York Times.

NEW YORK—Marina Maher Communications has appointed Diana Vienne to lead its human resources team as executive vice president of human resources and organizational development. Vienne has nearly 20 years of global business experience consulting for the Human Capital and Strategic Change practices of Deloitte Consulting, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Stromberg Consulting (now Ketchum Change), before starting her own consulting business four years ago. She will work with MMC’s executive team to align the agency’s leadership, people and teams with its business objectives.

CAMBRIDGE, MA—Life sciences specialist Pure Communications has named Matthew Clawson as senior vice president and managing director of the agency’s investor relations and financial communications practice; Jennifer Torres as senior vice president and group director and Lauren Cohen as senior vice president. Clawson, who will be based in Southern California, was previously founder and CEO of Life Partners and partner at Allen & Caron. Torres, based in Chicago, has experience with Pfizer, Porter Novelli, and Ketchum.

MINNEAPOLIS—Sunny Fenton has joined Minneapolis-based marketing agency Haberman as business development director. Fenton was previously director of business development at Colle+McVoy; she has also worked for Minneapolis agencies Little & Company, Hunt Adkins and Carmichael Lynch, as well as Best Buy Corporation.
