SAN FRANCISCO—Sparkpr, a media relations and digital services agency, has named Jay Kolbe as managing director, digital ad/marketing, which serves clients including Casale Media, IZEA, Kontera, OneSpot and ReactX and WebSpectator. He brings 15 years of experience in the sector and previously founded Weber Shandwick’s ad marketing division.

Also in New York, Gregory Papajohn, has been named managing director, financial tech and social innovation, joining Sparkpr from GolinHarris; and Linda Chung has been named director, broadcast relations, after serving three years as the segment producer for CNBC’s Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo.

In San Francisco, Tim Donovan has been named managing director, enterprise tech, where account responsibilities include Blackboard, Collibra, Giant Pixel, Gigas, Mimosa Networks and Underwriters Laboratories.

Yvette Lorenz-Machlan has been named managing director, consumer tech, having most recently served as senior vice president of the consumer practice at H30 Communications; Remi Adams has been named managing director, health and wellness—previous roles include director of communications at Homestead Technologies.
