SINGAPORE—Text100 has appointed Keeley Benjamin as ASEAN digital brand lead, responsible for providing strategic brand and digital consultancy to Text100’s clients in Southeast Asia. In 2012, Benjamin relocated from London to Hong Kong to take on the head of global press and digital marketing role for Native Union, a mobile and digital accessories provider. Prior to this, she led Sony Ericsson’s public relations and digital strategy for its lifestyle and consumer technology segment and spent eight years at Nike.

HONG KONG—MSLGroup has appointed Tony Wong as general manager in Hong Kong and James Hawksworth as the director of the firm’s corporate and financial practice there. Wong most recently led PR Asia Consultants, a leading domestic financial PR firm in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he was a senior regional communications manager at ING Asia Pacific. Hawksworth, who has spent five years across MSL offices in China and the Middle East, brings more than a decade of experience in corporate communications and investor relations from Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

MUMBAI—Indian advertising agency Rediffusion Y&R has named Rahul Sharma as president of Rediffusion Communications, its public relations and public affairs unit. Sharma is currently president, public affairs at Genesis Burson-Marsteller and was previously a columnist and newspaper editor. In his new role, he will be the overall head of the business and will lead the Tata account, which Rediffusion has managed since November 2011. He will be based in Mumbai.

SINGAPORE—Lewis PR has made two senior appointments to its management team in Singapore, adding Jocelyn Ng-Foo as associate director and transferring Scott Pettet, a vice president currently based in Sydney. Ng-Foo joins Lewis from Edelman, where she was senior consultant and will manage several consumer and technology client campaigns. Pettet has been with the firm for more than seven years, and is tasked with elevating the company’s profile across the region and spearheading business development.

HONG KONG—Daylight Partnership has won the Greater China remit to manage Fitbit’s digital marketing and social media presence on influential platforms including Facebook, Weibo, WeChat, and Douban. Daylight will support Fitbit, a US-based maker of activity trackers, as it continues to expand across Asia, including content strategy, online brand management and outreach to key opinion leaders.

SINGAPORE—PRecious Communications, an independent boutique public relations and social media consultancy, has added three new clients: ThoughtBuzz, a social media intelligence and analytics company; Unified Inbox, which provides cloud-based, unified communications and social collaboration platforms; and 99.co, an online real estate brokerage portal for the residential market.
