CHICAGO—Burson-Marsteller has strengthened its US corporate and financial practice with the addition David Roznowski and Chris Short as senior directors in the firm’s Chicago office. Roznowski joins after a decade in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, most recently with BP North America in a corporate, internal and crisis communications role for BP's largest refinery in Whiting, Ind. Short joins from beverage company Phusion Projects, the maker of Four Loko, where for the past three years he was vice president of communications.

NEW YORK—Makovsky has named Stacey Wachtfogel as executive vice president, chief human resources officer. Wachtfogel brings expertise in areas of HR management including organizational strategy, talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, and employee relations and litigation. She was formerly SVP, head of human resources, for MSLGroup and has held leadership positions with Accenture, Unilever, MasterCard, Deutsche Bank, UBS and Morgan Stanley.

NEW YORK—MWW has promoted Robyn Schweitzer to vice president. Since joining MWW in 2008, Schweitzer has helped lead campaigns for a number of MWW’s consumer lifestyle marketing accounts. Prior to joining MWW, she spent four years at RFC&P where she specialized in travel and tourism.

NEW YORK—Strategic communications agency Kyne has hired Kelli Raymor as vice president. Raymor has a decade of experience at healthcare public relations agencies including WCG and GCI Health. She will lead client engagements in the biotechnology and non-profit sectors, in addition to providing senior counsel across the company portfolio.
