JOHNSTON, RI — Commercial property insurer FM Global has moved its North American public relations business to Brodeur, parting ways with Ogilvy PR in the US after a lengthy relationship.

The move to Brodeur Partners, which followed a competitive review, was effective June 1. The insurance company continues its “well-established” relationships with Ogilvy in multiple other markets around the world, FM Global spokesperson Steve Zenofsky told the Holmes Report

Ogilvy PR's work in markets outside of the US is not under review. In 2010, the FM Global also started working with corporate boutique Sermelo in the UK.

FM Global focuses on loss prevention in the property sector and has a client roster that includes a third of the Fortune 100. Long-term partners include Caterpillar, Gannett, Emerson Electric, GlaxoSmithKline, Hasbro and Major League Baseball.
