HERNDON, VA—Volkswagen Group of America has appointed Scott Vazin as executive vice president, group communications, responsible for all aspects of corporate communications for the Volkswagen Group and Volkswagen brand, including corporate media relations, product communications, all public relations campaigns, internal communications, community partnerships and philanthropy. Vazin joined the company in March 2011 as the vice president of communications for the Volkswagen brand, having spent 15 years with Nissan in numerous communications roles.

NEW YORK—First Data Corporation, a global leader in payment technology and services solutions, has appointed Josh King as senior vice president of global communications and corporate affairs. King will lead employee and client communications, media relations, digital and social media, public engagement, and events management. King served most recently as senior vice president, group communications and marketing, for Willis Group Holdings, the global insurance broker. Prior to Willis, he was vice president, media and community relations, for The Hartford Financial Services Group.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—Northrop Grumman Corporation has named Lisa Davis vice president, communications, for the electronic systems sector. She will report to Darryl Fraser, corporate vice president, communications and will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for the company's global electronic systems business. Davis comes to Northrop Grumman from her most recent position as vice president, corporate affairs for MedImmune, the global biologics arm of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, she was vice president, corporate communications for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals.

NEW YORK—Insurance broker and risk management consultancy Marsh has appointed Kristie Bouryal as its chief marketing and communications officer. Bouryal will report directly to Joe McSweeny, president of global sales, with an additional reporting line to Ed Dandridge, chief communications officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies. She joins Marsh from Nielsen, where she most recently served as senior vice president of global corporate communications. Prior to Nielsen, Bouryal worked at The Associated Press and ABC News.

CHERRY HILL, NJ—Subaru of America has appointed Diane Anton as manager of corporate communications, responsible for the company's business and lifestyle media relations as well as social media strategy. Anton has nearly 15 years of automotive industry experience, most recently in business communications for BMW of North America. She began her automotive career with agencies Octagon and Alem International Management, working on national event marketing campaigns.
