MUMBAI—Atul Ahluwalia, formerly managing director at Weber Shandwick India, takes on a new role as vice chairman and will continue to lead the firm’s India operations. Dilip Yadav, formerly deputy managing director, is promoted to become managing director, client services, and additionally is appointed managing director of Creation, Weber Shandwick’s engagement brand. At the same time, Carolina Bajaj joins the firm from Edelman and has been appointed deputy managing director, India, responsible for the Mumbai and Bangalore operations>

HONG KONG—Diana Pong joins Waggener Edstrom Hong Kong as deputy general manager and head of technology. She brings more than 16 years of public relations experience from agencies such as Edelman and Text100 working with clients such as ZTE, WeChat, Stratasys, and SmarTone. In addition, Jane Dee has joined the office as consumer practice lead from Moet Hennessy Asia Pacific, where she handled brands including Belvedere Vodka, Grand Marnier, and Cloudy Bay. And Winky Moon has joined as technology account director.

SINGAPORE—MSLGroup has hired Steve Dormon as director of its consumer practice based in Singapore. He will oversee strategy development across 10 markets for one of the firm’s large consumer goods clients, as well as campaigns for multiple Singapore-based clients. Dormon was previously with global agencies Lowe & Partners and Publicis Worldwide, and has led work in Paris, London and Budapest before relocating to Singapore in 2011.

TOKYO—Dentsu Public Relations has formed a partnership with Stand Consulting, a Tokyo-based coaching business led by Martin Newman and a leader in public delivery. The two firms will offer presentation training for Japanese executives who want to communicate more effectively with overseas stakeholders.

MANILA— Leana Carmona, president of leading Filipino stakeholder relations firm EON, is taking on a new role as senior advisor, shifting her focus from internal day to day operations to strategy development and counsel for key clients. The firm is conducting a search for a replacement, and in the interim will be led by chairman and CEO Junie del Mundo an senior executives Randi Lorica, CFO; Malyn Molina, head of business development; and Nico Reyes, head of client service.

SINGAPORE—FleishmanHillard has appointed Joel Weiden as senior vice president and head of its corporate, finance and industry team in Singapore. Before joining FleishmanHillard, Weiden was the co-founder of the Communications Collective in Vietnam, general manager of Weber Shandwick Thailand and senior director of editorial services at Nielsen in both Singapore and New York. Weiden has worked on corporate positioning, financial restructurings and bankruptcies, and hostile takeovers.
