Hinckley Sells Cultural Marketing Firm to R&C

LOS ANGELES—Elizabeth Hinckley, owner and president of media relations and communications firm Hinckley & Co., has joined entertainment public relations agency Rogers & Cowan. Hinckley will be senior vice president and brings her agency’s staff and its client roster into R&C to create a new division within the company, Definitive Culture. 

Focused on clients in the fields of arts, culture, and affluent lifestyles, Definitive Culture draws on its research philosophy to develop original and strategic communications and marketing platforms for clients to define themselves authentically.  

Hinckley’s clients include Los Angeles’ Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Pacific Symphony, Palisades Development Group, The Colburn School, Music Academy of the West and various international performing artists and composers. Recent projects include the launch of the Los Angeles Palihouse hotel chain, MOCA’s Robert Rauschenberg: Combines opening night gala, the Tristan Project for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association.
