Multispecialist with strong recruitment communications practice

Formed in 2003 by the merger of ACA and JeS, ACA/JES communicatie is an integrated communications firm. Probably best known for its work in the recruitment sphere—it ranks among the top five in the Netherlands and represents the Royal Dutch Navy, Shell, KLM and Ernst & Young—it also offers marketing communications, public relations and public affairs, and online communication expertise to a wide range of Dutch and multinational companies.

Managing director Cas Jenster began his career in marketing with the Dutch retailer Vendex/KBB before starting his own agency in 1995 and provides expertise in marketing and online communications. Strategy director Dinand Jansen was one of the founders of Job Company and later a member of the management team at ACA, and is now one of the partners in ACA/JES, specialising in recruitment communication. Senior consultant Willem Buitelaar, meanwhile, has 20 years of experience in public relations for corporations and non-profit organisations and has expertise in media relations, internal communications, and marketing communications.

Last year was a difficult one for ACA/JES, as it was for most of the Dutch PR market, but the firm has seen some growth in the first half of 2005, and has added several new clients including Taskforce Jeugdwerkloosheid (a youth unemployment initiative), the Dutch Royal Navy, Control Finance, Solvay, Accor Services and Shopcontrol. They join a client roster that includes the Ministry of Social Affairs, Shell, Interpay and KLM.

ACA/JES is the Dutch partner of the IPREX network of international public relations firms.
