SAN FRANCISCO—MWW Group has added Deniz Bolbol as a vice president in the San Francisco office. Bolbol will play a key role in the office’s technology, corporate communications, green technology, and brand positioning divisions. Prior to joining MWW Group, she was a public relations consultant for clients including OQO, NuFed/Numerator and various non-profit organizations. Earlier in her career, she was a principal at Wavecrest Communications, a virtual agency that focused on technology clients. Additionally, the firm has promoted Louise Thach to account director in the firm’s consumer practice. Prior to joining MWW a year ago, Thach was an account director at Clifford Public Relations.

CHICAGO—Patrick Van de Wille has joined Ashton Partners, a strategic advisory firm focused on investor relations and corporate communications, as assistant vice president, corporate communications. Van de Wille has 20 years of communications experience, with a particular emphasis on technology, telecom and IT outsourcing.  He has worked as freelance journalist/television commentator/analyst for major television networks in Canada and the U.S.,and wrote for The Globe and Mail, Canada’s premier business newspaper.

DETROIT—Airfoil Public Relations has promoted Eric Kushner and Tracey Parry to senior vice presidents of their respective practice areas. Kushner currently leads the agency’s business-to-business technology practice and serves on the leadership team for the healthcare group. Parry leads marketing communications programs for the business-to-consumer practice.

ALAMEDA, CA—Engage PR has promoted Kristin Kiltz to the position of account director. Kiltz will leverage her 11 years in the technology industry to identify, pursue, and win new business. She will also manage and mentor account supervisors to ensure that account teams meet or exceed client program goals. She has spent eight years with Engage.
