Founded in 1998, Apex Communications Group is one of three companies operated by Taiwanese public relations giant Elite Group (the others being Elite PR and K-Concepts) and is itself parent to three subsidiary firms: high-tech PR specialist Apex Communications, which is equally capable in the business-to-business and consumer tech arenas; technology and financial communications firm Elite PR, which has offices in Beijing and Shanghai; and Clavis Communications, launched in 2007 in response to the Taiwanese investment boom, which is focused on the corporate and financial communications market in Taiwan.

The firm is also distinguished by a focus on long-term retainer relationships and by quality of its staff—there’s a focus on professional development that is still unusual among indigenous firms, delivering a correspondingly low turnover rate.
