NEW YORK—CooperKatz & Company has expanded its senior management with the hiring of Amira Rubin as manager of client services and has promoted three of its existing account supervisors— Rachael Adler, Melissa Connerton; and Meredith Topalanchik—to the position of manager, client services.
Rubin was previously a manager at Burson-Marsteller, where she oversaw account teams in the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific regions for clients such as Hewlett-Packard and SAP. Prior to Burson-Marsteller, she represented IBM Financial Services and Charles Schwab & Co at TSI Communications.
In her new position, she will lead public relations efforts for Insure U, the education program of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and will also oversee the programs for Teliris, a provider of telepresence solutions; DialAmerica, one of the nation’s largest teleservices companies; Polar, a leader in fitness assessment technology; and Petfinder.com, an online database of adoptable animals.
Adler’s responsibilities include leading programs for the ANA (Association of National Advertisers), TowerGroup, U.S. Preventive Medicine and Noblis. Connerton manages public relations initiatives for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service and Virgin Mobile USA. Topalanchik leads work for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers and drove the recent launch of CondéNet social networking site, Flip.
