Linda Fulford formed Fulford Public Relations in 1999 after she was approached to provide services for the Davidoff Asian PGA Tour and the West McLaren Mercedes Formula One Team, assignments that helped to cement the fledgling firm’s reputation as a regional leader in the sports marketing business—clients today include the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, Lexus Cup, and the upcoming Formula One SingTel Singapore Grand Prix—although Fulford expanded into broader lifestyle marketing in 2001 after winning the Virgin Mobile account and has since handled high-profile clients including The Macallan Single Malt Whisky, Lee Hwa Jewellery and F&N Foods. A corporate practice provides support for the 18 Asia Pacific hotels in the Hilton Hotels Group, AXA Life Insurance, the National Geographic Channel, the recently-concluded Global Brands Forum and Hillcrest Capital.
