Glover Park Strengthens Management in New York, D.C.

The Glover Park Group has hired Joyce Brayboy as a senior vice president in the legislative affairs division in its Washington, D.C. office. Brayboy will be responsible for government relations and strategic communications counsel.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Glover Park Group has hired Joyce Brayboy as a senior vice president in the legislative affairs division in its Washington, D.C. office. Brayboy will be responsible for government relations and strategic communications counsel and will specialize in crafting and implementing legislative strategy. Previously, Brayboy served for over 12 years as chief of staff to Congressman Melvin Watt of North Carolina, the immediate past chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus.

In addition, Peter Kauffmann joins the New York office as a vice president. Kauffmann brings an extensive background in public affairs and public service, having most recently served as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy and earlier as press secretary for Senator Hillary Clinton. Brenda O’Connor also joins the public affairs practice in Washington, D.C. as a vice president. Previously, she was vice president of public affairs for the American Insurance Association, a leading national public policy advocacy organization for property-casualty insurance companies.

In addition to the new hires, Arik Ben-Zvi, David Cantor and Victoria Esser have been promoted to senior vice president.
