NEW YORK—Manning Selvage & Lee’s New York office has hired Peter Harris as senior vice president and corporate practice director. He succeeds Andy Tannen, who will become senior vice president, director of strategy and development, also for the New York corporate group.
In his new role, Harris will be responsible for managing staff and its growing client roster, which includes Guardian, JP Morgan Chase, Heineken USA and Philips. He will also be involved in new business development and will play a critical role on the office’s executive management team.
Harris joins MS&L from Ketchum, where he was senior VP and group manager of the agency’s corporate practice. He was also co-director for the global IBM account and managed account teams across the company’s vertical industries, including automotive, healthcare and life sciences, telco, media & entertainment, banking, insurance and government. Additionally, he was a member of IBM’s external relations council.
Prior to that role, he was senior VP and general manager of Access Communications’ New York office, where he led accounts such as HP and Thomson Financial. He has also held positions at PepperCom, Brouillard Communications and Porter Novelli.
