As the name suggests, ITBC Communication focuses primarily on the information technology section, making it one of the few firms in the highly fragmented Polish market with a specialist approach, drawing on the professional background of founder and managing director Jacek Jakubczyk, who previously served as marketing director for a number of companies in Poland and the Czech Republic. In its early days, ITBC provided full-service marketing communications solutions, including advertising, web design and more, but it quickly chose to focus on high-tech public relations, although it does offer a broad range of services—including communications strategy, media relations and training, investor relations, and crisis communications—and it does serve business-to-business clients outside of the tech arena, including several in the financial and professional services sector.

Growth last year was about 15 percent—it has averaged around that rate over the past five years—with the investor relations practice making a strong contribution.
