Kalt Rosen & Company
Investor relations firm
Howard Kalt and Neal Rosen founded Kalt Rosen & Company 24 years ago and have built it into one of the leading investor relations consulting firms on the west coast, although it draws clients from as far away as
The firm represents companies in a wide range of sectors: technology, banking and financial services, medical and healthcare, retail, consumer products, telecommunications, utilities, energy and mining, hospitality and more. And clients range from $2 billion New York Stock Exchange-listed companies to micro- and small-cap firms traded on NASDAQ and other exchanges. In addition to a complete investor relations portfolio, the firm provides corporate communications counsel ranging from issues management to high level employee communications, as well as media relations for financial services organizations.
Last year was the best since the investor relations business entered a mini-slump at the start of the decade, with revenues up around 35 percent. Of particular note, the firm handled two of the largest IPOs on the year: NeuStar and Dolby Laboratories, both of which listed on the New York Stock Exchange and then continued to work with KRC as ongoing investor relations clients. Other new clients included AXA Rosenberg, a $60 billion investment manager, and FoxHollow Technologies, medical device company that completed IPO in October 2004. The firm also continued to handle special situations including mergers and acquisitions, management changes and earnings restatements, notably for Riverstone Networks, which uses KRC as its investor relations department.
