TRENTON—The MWW Group has been retained to provide public affairs counsel to the American Trucking Association. The firm will lead a campaign to protest toll hikes on bridges connecting New Jersey to Pennsylvania across the Delaware River. The recent toll hikes force trucks to pay rates 300 percent higher than the previous tolls.
As part of the initiative, MWW will work alongside commuter groups, local businesses, trucking organizations, and representatives from the Governors’ offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.
The American Trucking Association is the largest national trade association for the trucking industry, representing more than 37,000 members covering every type of motor carrier in the United States.
