When TOMS, the unique shoe brand that gives away one pair of shoes for every one it sells, decided to launch in China, it hired Jen Loong as international marketing director to navigate its entry into a critical market. Loong brings considerable marketing savvy to the role having previously worked in senior marketing roles at Groupon, Alipay and Lululemon. More than that, though, Loong has demonstrated a credible ability to bridge East and West, evidenced in her thought leadership and, indeed, her decision to run the North Korea marathon. Loong is also building WanderSnap —  which she describes as "an Airbnb of travel photography connecting curious wanderlusters around Asia with local snappers to create meaningful editorial and purposeful jobs."
