We are growing quickly and are looking for several Account Coordinators (recent grads) or Account Executives (1-2 years relevant experience) to join our San Francisco or Nashville teams. You’ll work directly with a diverse portfolio of clients and will actively manage client meetings, media outreach campaigns, social media strategy, and more.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage client projects from conception through completion.
Day-to-day client contact with ownership of client calls.
Research speaking and award programs.
Act as primary client contacts and provide strategy and guidance across all PR initiatives.
Manage media relations, pitch reporters across all segments and support planning of press and analyst tours.
Develop strong written content.
Participate in new business opportunities.
Lead media programs, launches, speaking programs, client events.
Develop and execute social media strategy.
College degree, preferably in Communications, English, Marketing or Business.
Previous internship or relevant job experience.
Strong organization skills and the ability to adapt to new assignments, deadlines, and conditions quickly.
Strong attention to detail and superior verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to manage multiple deliverables at once.
General understanding of the Public Relations/Marketing industry
Basic understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
An interest in technology and a love of learning.
The ability to work effectively with a variety of people.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or similar field.
1-2 years’ experience in communications, PR or related field. Prior PR agency experience preferred.
Skilled multitasker, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish, meet deliverable deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Meets client deadlines and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Media relations experience and knowledge, ability to work with reporters across industry verticals, prior experience pitching stories and staffing briefings.
Excellent organizational communications (written or verbal) and time management skills.
Proficiency (or ability to learn) basic computer and PR tech applications including Cision, Lexis, Sysomos, Meltwater, CatchPole, Google Suite, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Ability to travel to and from client meetings as appropriate.
