March Communications is searching for an Account Director who’s ready to take on a senior leadership role at the agency, and pilot its ZOOM Practice Group for ascending brands.
As a March Account Director, you’ll develop innovative, integrated communications campaigns and new-business services for a range of consumer tech and innovation brands. You should be well-versed in providing counsel to clients as it relates to research, insights, brand and content strategy, digital PR and experiential activations, and also be able to provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

ZOOM is our brand incubator for bold thinkers, disruption makers, and chance takers that have an idea, service or product and want us to customize their communications programs that fit their stage, purpose, audience and goals. We need a pilot to pull up on the yoke and fly this thing – leading the group’s client relationships, accounts and team members as well as charting its course for growth, new products, services and capabilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a smart, ambitious, entrepreneurial and experienced comms expert interested in having a real impact and a real say in the growth of an established and successful agency. This is a newly-created position that will report to the Agency EVP and Consumer Innovation Group lead.
Do you have…
Substantive agency experience: the right candidate will have 8-10 years’ experience working in an integrated communications environment with at least 5 of those years spent at a PR, digital or brand agency.
Valuable category expertise: proven expertise developing and leading integrated communications campaigns for a range of consumer technology, innovation, and digital brands of all shapes and sizes.
Insights-driven approach: you’ve brainstormed, developed and led insights-driven client campaigns that leverage all elements of a smart, creative, holistic and impactful comms program – research, brand strategy, creative concept, content strategy… PESO.
Demonstrable new business and organic growth success: experience pitching and winning new business and proactively driving opportunities.
Innovation inside out: be innovative yourself, but also understand the innovation-centric work that we do for our clients. You’ll need to be able to foster and advance our innovative approach and methodologies within the agency as well.
Project confidence: you’ve got problem-solving nailed, and a think-on-your-feet swagger.
Collaborative effort: you’re a team player dedicated to the growth and success of the agency and all of its people.
