We develop innovative programs that reach and influence physicians, advocates, patients, regulators, policy makers, payers and the consumers at the center of it all.

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate is an experienced communicator who thrives in an environment where passion, creativity and curiosity are valued. We are looking for someone who understands how to reach healthcare journalists, loves AP style and excellent grammar, likes to play “quarterback” on big client projects, understands social media channels and knows how to motivate junior staff for results. Candidates must have a passion for client service, staff development and networking with a keen interest to play a leadership role supporting the success of our growing health practice.


Job Functions:

  • Client Service:

o Leads client engagements, serving as day-to-day account manager

o Demonstrates success in nurturing, growing and sustaining client relationships

o Assists with plan development and implements strategic communication programs and assessment of campaign success in accordance with client planning process

o Manages and tracks budgets ensuring programs are delivered on budget and within client’s expectations

o Ensures flawless execution of all program elements across multichannel programs that incorporate digital and social media communications

o Establishes strong collaboration and communication across account teams and with integrated services (digital, creative and media)


  • People Management:

o  Mentor and motivate staff with the goal of retention and development

o  Oversee resource allocation across team

o  Model and hold team accountable to demonstrating agency values


  • Agency Business:

o Support new and organic growth opportunities

o Contribute to agency strategic planning initiatives

o Educate & oversee team on cross agency activity


Minimum/Preferred Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in communications – in an agency or applicable industry; health-industry expertise is preferred 
  • Minimum of 3 years integrated communications management & execution experience, including developing plans, launch strategies, product positioning, pitches, contract negotiation, budget responsibility, media training, messaging, creative tactical ideas, digital and social executions
  • Demonstrated creative & strategic mindset
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills & ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field
