Account Supervisor, Public Relations - Weber Shandwick

The ideal candidate will have agency and consumer brand experience.

 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain daily client contact and prospect information
  • Manage timelines and client deliverables
  • Help develop long term plans and program recommendations for clients, including overarching strategy
  • Help generate creative and integrated ideas and opportunities as part of planning
  • Actively participate in an integrated agency team as a PR representative
  • Help develop media strategy plans; and play active part in execution
  • Event coordination if/as necessary, including vendor oversight and management
  • Serve as a role model for junior members
  • Attend account reviews and staff meetings - provide ongoing communications and feedback 
  • Involved in staffing of team including interviewing candidates

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years public relations agency experience in consumer PR
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience leading large scale, integrated activations and campaigns
  • Strong writer – ability to craft messages and story narratives for both trade and consumer audiences

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills – ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams
  • Experience managing clients on a day to day basis
  • Proven experience working within an IAT
  • Strong media relations skills
  • Must be proactive and flexible, a team player able to work in a fluid environment with changing priorities
