Creative Director - ReviveHealth

The Position
The Creative Director is responsible for all creative operations of the agency to include staff supervision and work production. Directs the activities of subordinates to maintain the agency’s standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability, while achieving the clients’ goals. The Creative Director must be an experienced presenter, collaborator, manager, and leader.

The position requires an exceptionally creative and focused individual who is ready to infuse creative direction and vision, from concept through to execution, across multiple healthcare brands in a variety of industry sectors both B2C and B2B.  Strategic vision, passion for quality and the willingness to embrace the company culture/values in their entirety are a must. A wide variety of deliverables will be part of the day-to-day operations and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

The Creative Director will lead creative ideation, working in concert with strategic planning, content strategy, and account leadership to develop ideas that will work across all channels: Earned (traditional earned media and influencers), Owned (web, collateral), Paid (all platforms) and Shared (social sites). We are seeking a leader who is smart about brand strategies, keen on changing demographics and media consumption patterns, understands new technologies, stays on top of what is hot, and can think big. The Creative Director will be an agency leader, and will have access to Weber Shandwick’s tools and products, including MediaCo, Viewscycle and GoLive, as well as the agency’s broader strategic planning and creative capabilities.

The successful candidate will be able to conceptualize campaign ideas from client create briefs, work closely with a team to turn those ideas into fully developed campaigns and budgets, and to successfully pitch those ideas and campaigns to account teams and to clients. The Creative Director will oversee the team of designers and creative talent, and work closely with paid media specialists and the digital team, to manage fully integrated campaigns.  The Creative Director will have excellent leadership and communication skills.  Confidence in directing the work of others, as well as the ability to coach/mentor members of the creative team is a must.


The Responsibilities
Includes, but not limited to the following: 

  • Develop and manage a “best-in-class” creative team and capability
  • Ensure that creative, communication streams, and related technologies become an integral component of the agency’s creative offering
  • Collaborate with new business development teams to create and develop new business opportunities.
  • Supervise the training and development of the creative team.
  • Attract, recruit and retain creative talent to grow the creative capability.

The Essentials:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required


  • Ten plus years professional experience in a well established creative role with a proven track record of success
  • Agency experience and thorough knowledge of agency business practices required
  • Experienced developing needs assessment, scope of project and cost models for creative services and contributing to managing the P&L
  • Portfolio of creative concepts and work required
