An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join one of the biggest FMCG retailers as a Head of CSR Communications and Reporting, with a remit to help shape and set the brand’s overall CSR and sustainability strategy/agenda.

The Company

The Role – Head of CSR Communications and Reporting 

In this role, you’ll be working across the business, with responsibility for the brand’s corporate responsibility and sustainability strategy which spans a huge variety of topics from workers rights, sustainable sourcing, plastics and more. You’ll need to have a background in CSR/sustainability, with knowledge of best practice in CSR and what this looks like for a business.

Another key element of the role will be data and reporting including pulling together the brand’s CSR report. This role is ideal for someone who loves analysis, data and reporting rather than the delivery side, as the media delivery is handed over to the press team.

A full job spec can be provided upon application but key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the brand’s corporate responsibility and sustainability strategy
  • Engaging key stakeholders across the business to support delivery
  • Delivery of the brand’s sustainability reporting
  • Leading engaging with investors on relevant sustainability/CSR issues
  • Setting KPIs and benchmarking/monitoring progress internally

About You:

  • Communications/PR experience
  • In house background preferred but agency experience will also be considered
  • Experience steeped in CSR/sustainability
  • Strong on data, insights and analysis
  • Experience in developing and leading a strategy

In return:

  • A salary of £75,000 - £100,000 DOE
    Annual bonus up to 45% of annual salary
