Marketing & Business Development Manager - Max Borges Agency

We are currently seeking a Marketing and Business Development Manager to support all agency marketing and business development initiatives. This role is specifically designed to market Max Borges Agency to prospective clients. This is not a typical account services role.

 

They will push forward programs for agency content, demand gen digital marketing, agency public relations, award submissions, list building, prospect identification, and outreach organization. They are responsible for being extremely organized including collaborating with other key agency stakeholders to ensure we build and maintain momentum for each of these individual programs

Areas of Focus:

Business Development – We have a dedicated team in place to actively engage and sign on new prospective brands. Your role will be to work closely with them to build out prospect lists, database management, researching the brands, and compiling dossiers, scheduling a calendar of prospect outreach touch points, and organizing outreach around trade shows.

 

Agency Content Development – You’re a digital marketing ninja who gets the content marketing landscape and how it can effectively result in lead generation and enhance SEO. Within the MBA Blog, there is a variety of content that is relevant to both our current and prospective clients. Your role will be to extract as many insights, storylines, and trending topics in the PR and consumer technology industries and then produce them through your own writing, engaging agency stakeholders to write articles, and external freelance support.

 

Paid Media Strategy - Building out and managing the editorial calendar is critical, as is the amplification of the content through social media and paid media programs. Your goal will be to ensure our prospect lists are highly organized and segmented, allowing for hyper-targeted advertising campaigns that will drive lead generation across social platforms. Candidate should be highly skilled in retargeting programs and custom audiences.

 

Agency Public Relations and Awards – Your task will be to drive awareness for the agency in select Public Relations/Marketing trade publications. This will include pitching stories on new client wins, hires, successful case studies, contributed content, Q+A interviews and more. Additionally, you will develop a calendar of award submissions for successful case studies, agency differentiators, and key executives (30 under 30, etc.)

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing and business development experience
  • Extensive content marketing skillset
  • Understanding of social/digital paid strategies
  • Mastery of best practices for sales and business development
  • Expert in persuasive writing and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
