An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join one of the biggest food/confectionary producers in the world as a PR Manager (corporate communications).   

In this role you’ll work across a portfolio of globally recognisable brands with responsibilities including leading the company’s CSR programme, supporting in the execution of corporate brand strategy and managing the corporate Twitter page.

The Role – PR Manager (Corporate Communications)

In this role, you’ll be a key member of the Corporate Affairs team of six. The brand hasn’t traditionally leant on PR/Communications, however in the last few years has turned its attention towards it. As a result, it’s a great time to be joining a team with increased investment.

Key responsibilities will include project management of the global CSR programme as well as leading the day-to-day social media activity. You’ll provide support on insight led campaigns to effectively communicate the company’s position on sustainability issues and work closely with the Public affairs team to ensure a joined up approach across policy, advocacy, stakeholder outreach, media and channel activity.

About You

  • 4 years + experience in communications gained at an agency or in house on large, global brands
  • This is a largely corporate role but consumer candidates will be considered if they have corp-sumer/issues experience
  • Some experience of community management is ideal or at least an understanding of relevant content
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders with conflicting priorities
