Senior Account Executive — GCI Health

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for project managing critical projects under the guidance of an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager, as well as playing an active role in the broader smooth running of accounts.     

You will have a willingness and ability to manage suppliers, maintain project leading client contact, lead environmental monitoring for your account teams (overseeing a Junior Account Executive in some instances), and be a key relationship holder with media contacts.     

In addition, you will begin building your coaching skill set by playing a more active role in the day-today mentoring of junior team members.     

Key responsibilities include:    

✓ Campaign Planning, Management and Delivery: You will use PR plans to capture and understand client objectives and manage the delivery of supporting creative strategies and tactics.    

✓ Media Relationships: You will establish and maintain relationships with key journalists and bloggers in on and off-line media representing client market sectors including national, business, specialist, trade, regional broadcast and digital channels.    

✓ Client Relationships: You will seek to establish multiple relationships within client organisations including members of the PR, Marketing, Medical and Regulatory teams.   

✓ Copy Writing: You will develop your writing skills beyond the production of core PR content to include case studies, articles, project proposals, presentations, videos and wider forms of communications content covering both consumer and business audiences.  

✓ Digital Media: You will demonstrate a strong understanding of the digital media landscape, utilising digital media tools and digital programs for superior client service.  

✓ Reporting, Meeting Management & Quality Control: You will ensure timely, quality-driven client reporting, clear delivery of information, appropriate preparation in advance of client meetings and that all company quality systems and processes are actively adopted.  

✓ Knowledge Building: You will establish and apply a comprehensive and current understanding of the media, current affairs, the client’s organisation and market sectors and GCI Health London’s business proposition. 

✓ Information Management & Account Administration: You will manage the administration of accounts ensuring high quality standards are consistently met.  You will ensure that all client information is managed in a current, logical and accessible manner, enabling ease and speed of access by any member of the team.    

✓ Account Profitability: You will maintain account profitability through appropriate personal service levels, time analysis and direct cost recovery, working alongside your team account manager.    

✓ People and Team Management: You will adopt a comprehensive blend of management styles and techniques to ensure delivery of client results while motivating and supporting junior members.    

✓ Team Player: You will have a positive, proactive, can-do attitude and demonstrate flexibility and willingness to contribute and go above and beyond across all of your accounts and the company as a whole.
