Senior Account Executive – Lovell Communications

Nationally recognized healthcare PR and marketing communications firm seeks inspiring strategists who want to contribute to a thriving company culture and make a difference in the industry. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate at all levels of the firm to advance client and agency projects and goals.
  • Nurture productive client relationships to maximize communications work flows and product deliverables.
  • Drive accounts, projects, and vendor relationships to ensure Lovell’s commitment to excellence is reflected in all work produced.
  • Guide the development of strategic communications plans, timelines, tactics and budgets; steadfastly support plan execution.
  • Unlock writing creativity through the development of feature articles, editorials, news releases, brochures, white papers, newsletters and other types of content.
  • Conceive, manage and launch collateral projects by obtaining estimates, monitoring production scheduling, securing approvals, managing junior staff and ensuring critical process steps.
  • Cross pollinate with Lovell’s digital best practice teams to develop and implement strategies for clients’ social media, website, email marketing, search engine and online reputation needs; analyze and evaluate campaigns for reach, effectiveness and ROI.
  • Craft compelling, innovative proposals and presentations, both for new clients and new projects.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with members of the media on behalf of clients, proactively soliciting and responding to reporters’ inquiries and, as needed, serving as client spokesperson.
  • Develop and orchestrate special events as needed.
  • Cultivate knowledge base of current industry news on behalf of firm and clients by monitoring local and business news, and review client industry trades, daily.
  • Contribute to the firm’s strategic vision by providing ideas, feedback and support for exciting growth plans and strategies.
  • Inspire others by training, educating, and mentoring team members.
  • Embrace accountability by consistently measuring and reporting results of our efforts and our value both internal to our team and externally to our clients.
  • Represent the firm at high-profile industry and community events and activities, as appropriate.

Qualifications / Requirements

Successful candidates will have:

  • Exception writing skill
  • Proven experience (and relevant work samples) in marketing and communication strategy and execution
  • Strong desire to make a difference in company culture and internal/external business relationships
  • Reputation for commitment to excellence and innovation
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, journalism, communications or related field
  • Minimum of five years’ relevant healthcare work experience (in either the provider and/or corporate environment) required; preference will be given to candidates with seven or more years’ experience
  • Proven experience in team management
  • Strong references to attest to an excellent track record of project management and client service

Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in B2B healthcare communications.
