Senior Account Manager - Endeavor Global Marketing

You will play a leading role supporting the team’s senior account lead on two distinct accounts:

1) A top global performance apparel company that innovates among the tech, retail and sports and entertainment.

2) A top entertainment and sports brand launch a new cause-related platform that will transform its brand identity. You will use your earned media expertise to join an integrated agency team to transform the brand’s identity to become more purpose-driven.


You are a PR professional with an agency background that has previously worked with sports and entertainment brands and client(s). Experience with apparel or retail brands is a plus. You love culture, live events, understand sponsorships / partnerships and have worked on experiential programs and/or cause programs.

 

You are looking to professionally grow, are ready to learn, and are seeking to mentor and coach a team. You have solid fundamental communications chops – you write, you pitch, and you know consumer and trade media outlets in the lifestyle, business, and travel spaces. Yet, you are looking to expand professionally into a more dynamic agency environment working among integrated marketing teams to serve one client together. You love the idea of having a full arsenal of storytelling tools to create earned media moments – including utilizing partnerships, talent, live events and content to support your client’s objectives.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • 6+ years of agency experience (sports, entertainment, apparel, retail), with proven track record in communications, including direct experience working with a variety of national media (both print and broadcast)
  • Experience managing communications programs in support of major global and national sponsorship platforms
  • Experience managing large client budgets and overseeing agency teams
  • Expert skills in communications, media relations, writing, message development and reputation management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while prioritizing quality work
  • Ability to effectively manage high-pressure crisis situations, and work in situations of ambiguity to define a clear path
  • Ability to weave multiple communications tools into a cohesive brand story, including events, talent and content
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Strong people manager with demonstrated experience leading, motivating and mentoring a team and working collaboratively with junior colleagues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field is preferred
  • Exceptionally strong writing skills and experience writing and translating product information into simple and compelling language
